Founder | Rape Survivor | Podcaster | Author | Inventor | Technology Pioneer | Chef
Greetings!! I am Geof (pronounced: “jeff”). I enjoy meeting new people and making new life-long friends from around the globe. 🙂 🌎
I am based near the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The beach behind me in my profile photo is Baker Beach, it is where very first Burning Man festival was ever held in the 1990’s.
MY PAST: I invented video shorts (using cell phones on cellular networks to upload video to social media), galley sauce, and UR Tags. By being founder and chair emeritus of the California IPv6 Task Force I helped pioneer new Internet technologies that paved the way for the AI Age, video streaming and autonomous robotics. Internet Protocol v6 (IPv6) enhances the quantity, interoperability, mobility and security of the Internet. Chef and sales professional.
MY FUTURE: Bringing the hospitality industry into the AI Age, and giving a voice to rape and sexual abuse survivors.
I am the founder of Maxson Point.AI based in San Francisco. Maxson Point.AI is focused on hospitality automation and tech. AI enhanced marketing, customer loyalty, payment processing, robotics are among some of the areas Maxson Point.AI assists hospitality companies in operating as efficiently and as profitable as possible.
VOS (venue operating system), a new hospitality technology. VOS uses AI related technologies and puts many facets of the customer of hospitality experiences into the palm of their hands on their phones, from ordering, promotions, payments, loyalty programs and others. VOS is to hospitality what autonomous ride-sharing is to transportation (Waymo), and what on-demand is to food delivery (DoorDash).
Currently I have two podcasts in production this fall and winter.
- One is focused on various facets of the hospitality industry and current trends. It’s called How Hospitality Happens.
- The other is a voice for both survivors of sexual abuse and those that support survivors in a mission to prevent abuse from ever happening. It is called Breaking the Code of Silence.
GEOF LAMBERT’S 5 TRUTHS OF RAPE & SEXUAL ABUSE
❗️Anybody can be a victim of abuse at any time and at any place.
❗️Anybody you come in contact with could be a perpetrator of rape or abuse
❗️An 18+ year old having sex, any kind of sex, with someone less than 16 years old in the USA is never having consensual sex. Non consensual sex is called rape.
❗️Having sex, any kind of sex, with somebody mentally incapacitated by alcohol or drugs regardless of their age is never consensual, it’s called rape.
❗️Often times the trauma suffered by an abuser not being believed is just as traumatic if not more than the actual act of abuse itself.
📣 Protect yourself at all times and always be aware of these facts above.
I experienced rape and sexual abuse as a Boy Scout between the ages of 11 and 16 by a serial pedophile. He was very well educated, wealthy, influential and once voted “Citizen of the Year”.
To relax I enjoy sailing, running, biking, washing dishes, puppy walking.
“Do not underestimate what a good loaf of bread and a decent bottle of wine can accomplish!” After all, food is one of the best universal languages, right??
I have been a Rotary Youth Exchange student, and a Cultural Scholar sponsored by Rotary District 2090 in Perugia, Italy. As a Rotarian I have been a member of the Rotary Club of Fair Oaks for over 15 years. I was elected to be the club president in Rotary year 2005-2006. I am Past Chair of the District Foundation Scholarship Committee. I am one of the original founders of the Interact Club at Bella Vista High School. I am also a past co-counselor for the Rotary Center for International Studies in Peace and Conflict Resolution at the University of California at Berkeley, and I am Past District 5180 Peace Scholar Chair.
In addition to having traveled internationally, I have driven coast to coast across the USA many times, and have been in just about all 50 states, and most major American cities.
