ABOUT ME

I really like to cook turkish food and deserts, I actually enjoy feeding people. My family live on three different continents, Australia, India and Turkey, we manage to get together a few times a year around the world. My nephew speaks turkish, hindi and english and is only 2, he is amazing. I am a primary school teacher and am passionate about alternative education and giving children the power and independence to make their own decions and engage in their own interests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

on the bus from Bulgaria to Serbia the bus broke down and we were all chilling on the side of the road for a couple of hours, then the bus driver grabbed mine and my friends stuff and chucked it on the side of the road. Then stone cold told us to hitch-hike, we couldn't believe it...but we accepted the fact we had to hitch-hike and asked the man to help us hail a car. He said no. Whilst the 30 odd other passengers laughed us, we had our thumbs out and waited for 45 min. Finally a nice man with little english stopped and gave us a ride to Belgrade. I still dont actually understand what happened but as there was no way of us getting an answer we just accepted it and bounced.
