I am a young social worker who loves to explore the world and to meet interesting people. Travelling is one of my passions, through which I was able to gain valuable experiences. I have been to several countries in and outside Europe and that gave me the chance to deal with different cultures.

For me it is important to confront myself with new issues and to work on my abilities. For this reason, I lived and studied in different countries. After living back in Zurich it is time to explore the world again.

At the moment me and my husband are travelling the world and are very excited for all the new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through travelling and living in another country or city and through meeting people from all over the world I have the chance to get a lot more experencies and have a cultural exchange.

Interests

I love to meet different people and talk and listen to them – to share knowledge about topics that changed the world. I think it's exciting to see life from a different perspective, that’s why I am an openminded and interested person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first trip on my own lasted six months and included traveling through India, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia. I was allowed to gain work experience abroad, because I graduated in Laos a one-month internship - I gave English Lessons to Buddhist novice-monks. I was alone on this trip, so I was on my own and learned many different personalities from different countries. At the end it was like having grown up a lot more.

Since summer 2021 I am backpacking again, this time with my husband.
