Hi! I’m a 44 years old Civil Engineer working in construction and travelling around the world on different projects. It has given me chance to work in the Middle East—4 years in the UAE, 4 years in Oman, and 5 years in Saudi Arabia. I’ve moved to the United Kingdom 3 years back and am currently working on the HS2 project in Birmingham.

Since my work is project-based, I don’t get much time to travel myself. But I truly enjoy meeting travellers and hearing their stories. I love talking about different cultures, nature, local traditions, attractions, and adventures from around the world.

To be honest, backpackers are like my eyes and ears—they help me see and feel the beauty of the world through their experiences. Hosting or meeting travellers is a way for me to stay connected to the spirit of exploration.
