Overview
About Me
I love teaching my fellow officers stuff that is both useful and fun. Currently, I am trying to use this passion for various activities that save money and generate value, as for example working at festivals or being a tour guide for group travel companies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of connecting with people form various backgrounds and share ideas and perspectives. CS gives you so much more than a free roof over your head but a deep dive into the actual life going on in the places you otherwise just pass by.
Interests
I got into mountain biking fairly late, which is why I rode often but not super advanced. I spent the summer of 2024 working in a bike shop in Whistler, B.C. to not only ride the most famous bike park on a regular basis, but also to finally get a working holiday visa before it is too late.
Other than that, I like multiple outdoor sports: via ferrata is my favorite climbing genre, I like the occasional kayaking trip and I would love to get into wildwater kayaking one day, but I'm also up for a nice relaxing or even challenging hike.

Music, Movies, and Books
Metalcore is my all-time favorite genre. Of course you can also catch me with some less brutal tracks, for instance some mean, smart and funny hip hop, maybe written by the Great Poets of our times like Mehnersmoos, KIZ, Alligatoah and so on.
You could sum up my musical taste with the well-known german term "Menschenverachtende Untergrundmusik".
But you can also catch me with some classics from the 90s or earlier.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A four-week-trip to the US, including a two-week-internship where I was treated like family.
Also, hosting a Spanish colleague during the German leg of the exchange.
Working in a mountain bike shop in Whistler
Being a sports guide for a youth travel company
be the travel host for a skiing trip
Teach, Learn, Share
Be mindful of your own needs and do not expect others to take care of them for you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Washing dishes, tidying up, getting breakfast, all that good stuff that you can do to make your host's life a little easier.
Also, I like to fix bikes a lot, so if you run into any troubles, I might be able to give you a hand. If you tell me beforehand, I might even bring tools and parts.
Also, if you want some mountainbike, shooting, first aid, self defence or driving lessons, I am happy to instruct you.
