ABOUT ME

I have a travel project called Pancake Adventures, I wrote a book about it. Have a look at my website for more info about my Pancakeadventures.com
and now writing a new one. to describe all the things you get back when you give something small. You can find more info about me and my adventures on pancakeadventures.com.

I might ask you to join me for a Pancake Adventures , that means making pancakes together and handing them out to people who deserve some spontaneous happiness. You can always refuse, but you'd miss out on a lot.

Other than that:
I love outstanding short stories, novels, films and documentaries, modern and contemporary art. I write stories and wander and think and drink and dance and... whatever.

If you think I'm not openminded by not telling you right away... well, maybe you're right, maybe I'm not!

I love to meet new people. I love to meet old people too. Just like my grandmother. She is 96 years old and always in for a good laugh. She suffers from dementia. So she gets to meet new people every half hour. Just by sitting in her chair.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My hosts always showed me parts of the city I wouldn't have found without them: A crazy warehouse party, a bar in a former prison, a secret bar in a park in Paris. I've been introduced to people I wouldn't have met without couchsurfing. That's the best part of couchsurfing.
My surfers brought me stories. Some a bit boring others very exciting. You never know what you get, but it's always refreshing.

Interessen

Creative writings: books, films, stage plays
Start-up scene: innovative young vibrant companies
leisure: drinking, dancing, discussing, low brow filosophy.

Most of all I try to come up with interresting original ideas and carry em out. My most current project was an open air museum in Amsterdam: museam.nl. putting up museum plates at random object to dignify the ordinary.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

-wrote a book (and got it published)
-traveled the world
-organized a run through a very busy shopping street in Amsterdam (https://vimeo.com/93349447)
-lived in New York for three months
-hitchhiked to paris, hitchhiked from Turkey through Georgia, Armenia to Iran
- saw the sunrise in the Western Desert in Egypt. Seeing the sun set or rise in any country is one of the most amazing things I've seen.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I did a master degree in Publishing Editing. Did an internship at a literary agency and worked as a creative at an ad agency. I learned how to film and edit movies, make a podcast and organize events.
Now writing a book on the university of life :)
