After I finished high school in 2008 I went backpacking in Australia for about 6 months. All by myself, but I was never alone and I loved it! I worked on horse farms, wildlife sanctuaries and in hospitality and I've learned so many things I can't even explain. After that I studied Ecology & Wildlife in the Netherlands, but with internships at a great variety of conservation and ecotourism projects around the world. Then my partner and I got the unique opportunity to start working at an Eco Lodge with Game Reserve in South Africa. These 6 years of hands-on management experience made it possible for us to move to Malawi now to start developing our own ecofriendly tourism business.

Getting up very early every day and watching the sunrise from a speedboat on the ocean surrounding Tenerife, Canary Islands, before jumping into the water with a GoPro to get footage of the wales and dolphins was incredibly amazing. In the afternoons we would analyze all collected data in the office of this unique conservation project.
