CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet new people in Brussels and in Sofia.

ABOUT ME

political scientist, global villager, coffee addict

PHILOSOPHY

recongnise biases (inluding your own prejudices), deconstruct them, make fun of them

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, I couch...

Living in a room in a B&B in Brussels. Have a double bed, but not sure if sleepovers are frowned upon. I just attend the social activities for now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted my first guest without being registered on the site. I went to a CS party in Vienna and met a guy from Mexico who spoke Bulgarian and needed a place to crash. He ended up staying for almost 2 weeks.

I am always for crowd-driven projects. Whenever such an idea makes it from the computer screen into real life - that's my favourite moment there!

Interests

I love just walking around a city I've never been to. It's like having a white uncharted map and filling it out. There's something exciting and romantic in being a modern dicoverer, even though you're just discovering things for yourself.

Apart from walking around I am quite fond of city/modern art installations. The most important thing is that they become part of city life and city culture. The MOMA in New York was one of the most interesting museums I've visited.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am convinced of two things: pigeons are conspiring to take over the world and music genres are created to confuse me Books: The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy The Importance of Being EarnestFilms: Life is Beautiful-Black Cat, White Cat

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I always get puzzled when asked to answer such questions. It's like the 5 things you'd take on a lonely island. Hell no, I can't answer that!

One group visit in and around Krakow in Poland will sure make any list of mine about lasting impressions. It had amazing things (church made of ouf salt in a salt mine), incredibly sad things (concentration camps), excellent city vibes and plenty of space to enjoy it.
