ABOUT ME

HI!
I am a happy soul that enjoys many things in this life. I enjoy spending time with people letting my heart share and open, becoming free from insecurities of the past. Lately I have been taking the leftover milk from the cafe that I work at and making homemade cheese!!! Its so easy and fun, then getting creative I make applesauce from a 1$ bag of ready-to-eat apples, now I'm ready to make vegan applesauce muffins! But wait, gently put inside the muffin is a chunk of my fresh creamy cheese...awh. Put it in the oven and whaddya get? Beauty! Fresh, hot and full of love! I love cooking in the kitchen as well as experimenting with sprouting food and keeping things live! Speaking of liveliness nothing like a good jam session, I like to sing and chant in circles, adding my own rhythms to the mix. I ride my bike when weather permits and feel like a kid again, I believe doing those things in life that provide a carefree, and youthful feeling should be done often and freely! My church callings keep me busy as well, whether it be visiting sisters each month or organizing a family home evening lesson, I am very involved. :) Religion is seemed to be looked down upon frequently and fair enough, seeing as how a lot of folks have strong beliefs but yet often their actions don't reflect their weighty opinions. There is truth on earth, EVERYWHERE, truth cannot brake or fade. Truth is light, and light dispels darkness. :) So, with that said, I proudly say I'm a daughter of God, and this God loves me, and with this knowledge comes comfort. With that comfort comes confidence which has helped me to stay true to who I am, letting my light shine and share my story. Awwhh, now that feels good. :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is a gift, here we are, opportunities abounding!!! Life is precious! I live my life most happily when I'm connecting to God. There are many ways to connect, higher power, the universe, higher self. All these ways of connecting are good, if they encourage you to be better, if they bring peace and an inner joy to your life! Connect, connect, connect to that side of things, the spiritual side. :) YUM!

Recently I have been asking people who I feel impressed to ask "What's your life advice"? Even though we all come in different shapes, colors, sizes one thing that is the same is we've all experienced the feelings of joy, peace, gratitude, and on the flip side anger, sadness, guilt. The experiences in which we've felt these emotions differ BUT because we've all felt these strong emotions we all now have the ability to liken ourselves unto our neighbor, to empathize and comfort one another!
