I am an open-minded person who loves to travel, explore, find out new things. Currently I am doing my Master degree in Bayreuth, Germany (Culture and Society of Africa, basically Anthropology and Sociology). Talking about social issues, everyday phenomenons or other current debates, makes me feel excited. I find it fantastic to meet new people and to learn from them. Sometimes I am very curious, sometimes too much, asking weird questions ;-) Can be funny too I guess (that's the researcher inside me, but don't worry I am anything but impolite...!) I am highly interested in people, in personalities, different characters and so on. I want to understand people, their dreams, their visions! For me it is just awesome to broaden my horizon and I am very thankful for everyone who feels the same! Please note: I am not part of this community to find the love of my life or any quick adventure (I have a boyfriend). I am looking for friendship only.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It is a great opportunity to connect with people all over the globe. I can't even stay at home for long, since all the experiences abroad shaped me so much, I feel addicted to new adventures- I am always on the run.
I used Couchsurfing quite often, in Great Britain, in South Africa, in Zimbabwe, in Tanzania, in United Arab Emirates, in Germany of course... I hosted lots of nice people also in different flats :-) I usually did/do this via other social contacts or networks, that's why my CS references could look a bit empty!

兴趣

I read soo much, but at the moment just all the literature for my Master :D I could be more active when it comes to Sports...but dancing makes me feel free and happy. I love nature and hiking! I go to the gym if I feel like it. I ride the bike everyday to work or university... And yes I am a real social scientist. I did my Bachelor in Media, Politics and Sociology and I like to be an academic, but I also like to be in the garden or craft something. I love to cook, especially for guests.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music is the best invention ever, I think! I feel like I'm entering a different dimension of this world, listening to music and feeling the rhythm. I like dancehall, reggae, azonto, south african house a lot, then I also like jazz or soul, swing...lots of stuff, depending on my mood.
Movies are great too, but I'm actually more addicted to TV Shows (yes I use Netflix...), but my program at university is very time consuming, so I don't watch too much TV anymore (partly true:D)
Books are of course great. I love novels, sci-fy, crime... Murakami is one of my favorite authors.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Every new day gives us the chance to do something amazing. Laughing with people is amazing, or being happy about their happiness. Being in the nature is amazing, and seeing what the world has to offer. It was definitely awesome to see the Vic Falls, Grand Canyon, Colosseum, as well as all the hidden places, where it feels as if no one else has been there before!
