ABOUT ME

I'm a nerdy girl just looking to meet more interesting and fun people! I have been working in local community theatre for the past 6 or so years, work for a hopping local online retailer, love writing about and drinking tea, and fill my time with whatever brings me joy at the time. I'm a great lover of many of the local Chico places and traditions, take pride in my hometown, and feel like I can hardly hit the streets without running into at least a few people I know. I guess I'm just meant to be in a small town place like this!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life with no regrets, but know that sometimes there are embarrassments that will roll around. Trick is to know that they aren't the end of the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been surfing couches for years, but never officially like this. Most of my travels have been accomplished with the use of friends' couches and I hope to continue the trend and offer my couch to all the weary travelers passing through my town!

One of my favorite experiences was going for a swim in Loch Ness... in the middle of December. Also, I got to take a photo on the Great Wall of China... ON A DONKEY!

Never be afraid of who you are. It doesn't matter what others may think of you, but what you think of yourself.

I unfortunately don't have a lot of skills to share. I can teach you the basics of how to knit and, as long as there's time, I'd be happy to look over your writing as an editor. However, I can't guarantee the greatest of insight, but I do enjoy it.
