I’m also curious about the laws of different countries, and I have a deep passion for human rights, which is why I chose to study law. I’m an advocate for gender equality and women’s rights. I truly believe in the power of people to make a difference. I love to travel, and my goal is to visit the most popular places around the world. Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Why am I on Couchsurfing? Well, my passion for meeting new people and discovering different ways of life started when I was 17. I went on an exchange program to the USA and stayed with a host family — it was my very first time on an airplane, and it was an amazing experience living in another country for a year. That’s when my travel journey really began. Later on, I participated in the Erasmus program in Austria, and I absolutely fell in love with traveling and cultural exchange. I come from Azerbaijan, which is a bit of a conservative country, and I truly enjoy exploring different cultures, meeting open-minded people, and having deep conversations about life. Recently, I discovered the Couchsurfing app, which has the same spirit of cultural exchange but for a shorter period, of course. I loved the idea and have made so many friends from around the world. I’m excited to meet even more people here and continue sharing smiles, stories, and good vibes!

I tried zip-lining between the mountains, flying through the air with breathtaking views all around — it was such a thrilling experience! I also had a few unforgettable moments in Europe, like losing my card and getting my wallet stolen (thankfully not my phone). While not the most ideal situations, they certainly made for some interesting stories!
