Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Nadine, originally from a small town in southern Brazil. Growing up surrounded by nature, I developed a deep appreciation for the land and all its mysteries, which led me to my passion for science and the environment. I love immersing myself in new experiences, especially when it comes to music, food and landscapes. My dream is to travel the world, meet amazing people, and learn about their cultures along the way. I’m here to create connections and explore life from every angle!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm Couchsurfing because it’s one of the best ways to get an authentic feel of a place by connecting with locals. For me, travel isn’t just about the sights; it’s about the people, the stories, and the small shared moments that make a journey unforgettable. Couchsurfing offers the perfect chance to experience these things while making friends around the world. I’d love to meet open-minded people who enjoy sharing their culture, learning about mine, and maybe even teaching me a few things in return!

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m a huge fan of any music that makes you want to move! I love discovering local artists wherever I go and always enjoy a good live show or festival.
A love movies in general, I just don't like horror.
A Vida Não é Útil by Ailton Krenak is one of my favorites books. It’s an inspiring read on indigenous wisdom, nature, and a more balanced way of living.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’m not sure if it counts as an incredible experience, but I feel deeply moved every time I step onto a plane, heading to or from a new place. There’s something magical about that moment — it reminds me to be grateful for all the experiences, the people, and the lessons I pick up along the way. And, if I had to share a more tangible adventure, I’d say hiking up Mount Vesuvius in Italy was unforgettable! Whether I’m returning home or diving into the unknown, these moments remind me of how much there is to explore and appreciate in life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Brazilian Portuguese basics, insights into geology, and a few traditional Brazilian recipes.
Learn: I’m always eager to learn about new languages, cultures, local traditions, and anything music-related.
Share: Great conversations, laughter, and some travel hacks I've picked up along the way!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’d love to share my experiences and perspectives on life, especially stories from my studies in geology and travels so far! I’m happy to teach a bit about Brazilian culture and language, exchange music playlists, or chat about anything related to nature, or science.
And if you go to Brazil, you are welcome at my place!
We have a small agroecology organic farm in southern Brazil! Here, we host volunteers interested in sustainable living, permaculture, and community life.
