About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Connect with people, nature, and my inner-self :)

ABOUT ME

I an adventure tour guide in Vancouver BC Canada. I love meeting new people, seeing new places, and having new experiences. I love food, wine, and chocolate. And I have a deep appreciation for the ocean, nature, and all that this wonderful planet has to offer.

Friends would describe me as an adventurer, fun, outgoing, open-minded, bright, jovial and friendly.

I also work part-time as a Web Designer with NGOs and non-profits in Canada for the last 5 years helping them to strengthen their web and mobile strategies. Big Brother Big Sisters, Plan Canada, and Oxfam Canada have all given me the best experiences and fulfillment I could ask for. I'm lucky to have many wonderful people in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the change you want to see in the world ;)

Respect all forms of life & lifestyles. Be patient and kind to all people, and don't forget to love and forgive yourself ... I think we can be our worst critics sometimes ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By offering a place for CS'ers to stay. Looking to enjoy some of the CS events in my area and while travelling ... esp. outdoor activities and BBQ's/cookouts. And hopefully meeting new CS hosts in other countries soon!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing every time! I was fortunate enough to find hosts in Cozumel, Mexico that hosted my girlfriend and I for almost 2 weeks. The hosts, Sandra and Socrates introduced us to friends, family, and the community. Sandra was a teacher and yogi originally from the UK and Socrates was a Tourism and Rec graduate from Mexico that now taught scuba and organized scuba trips

Hosting people was also just as amazing. I wish I had more time to spend with all of the people I hosted, but was very busy with work at the time. Still had amazing conversations in the limited time we had together.

So, it can be as involved or as light as you want, but every time my experience with CouchSurfing was outstanding ;)
