Authentic, kind, intuitive, laid back, flexible, adventurous. I tend to over think many experiences/interactions with others and I would like to get to a place where I do that less. I am in a space where I am exploring all sorts of ideas and aspects of my identity, and I'm ready for the next adventure!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I set up an account a couple of years ago when I was heading out to the Bay Area for an internship, and wanting to meet new people along the way. Because of timing and hosts having other obligations I wasn't able to take advantage of it then.

I am now at a place where I am taking my travel dreams more seriously, and want to get more involved in the couchsurfing community!

Intereses

singing, reading, learning to not burn things in the kitchen, eating good food, salsa dancing has been giving me life lately.

Music? Here are a few artists I'm currently listening to: Lianne La Havas, Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu.

I'm currently making my way through The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander and re-reading one of my all time favorite books The Alchemist.

Huge fan of the Harry Potter Series.

I have witnessed a 70 year old woman take in an infant and raise her into adulthood. I think that's pretty noteworthy.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

If I have time to cook a meal I certainly will share. You have access to a washer and dryer, and a couch. At this point I have one long couch, and one short couch available to surfers. Unless you have your own air mattress or sleeping bag, my space will be most comfortable for one surfer at a time.
