Hello,
My name is Francis. I am originally from Franche-Comté, close to Switzerland, but I came to live in Paris for my work (I am a middle school biology and geology teacher)... 7 years ago now. So I'm not a real Parisian, but we're getting a taste for living here, and I know this city well now !
I like spending simple moments with friends: singing with friends, dancing, playing a board game...
I am also very interested in the political stuff of our country, questions of ecology, feminism etc.
I get by in english and Italian.
I live in the center of Paris, near Beaubourg and the town hall. We're two roommates, and you might bump into Axel, who's very friendly and passionate about cycling!

The neighborhood is full of AirBNBs... I want to believe that there are other, more fraternal ways to travel.
I've always enjoyed hosting travelers and meeting new people, and I've also loved traveling around Australia thanks to Couchsurfing.

We all like a crazy lot of things, especially spending time together and talking about music, travels, politics and a so on. We love walking through Paris and talk forever !

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

We were going home from an day in Paris, and heared some music in the underground. We then stopped in an underground station where two street artists were playing music : they managed to gather around 150 persons in a tiny station, making a great underground concert ! We stayed there for more than one hour, singing with everyone... This is the kind of moments that Paris can offer you ! =)
