ABOUT ME

I am new to Chicago. I always wanted to try this ever since I came across this concept while in my undergrad days in India.

I love to explore new things and meeting new people.
I love history.I find it very intriguing and what it can teach us.

I want to travel to know about the places' history, its people and culture.

And when I host someone, go through the same process being right at home!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have recently signed up for this.
I came here from India for my master's. Now working full-time in Chicago.
I stay in a 2-bed apartment (in the neighborhood of Edgewater) which I share with my mate from school.
I have a sofa-cum-bed in the hall which has enough space for two people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few times, but haven't had the opportunity to be someone's guest yet.

Interests

Soccer, history, reading up on random non-fiction stuff............hiking, camping, backpacking.......and yes making new friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have already traveled a few thousand miles to come here.That's something I had dreamed of.

In US, I went backpacking for a week in the Superstition Wilderness in Arizona. I simple LOVED that!!

Looking forward to do something similar asap.....

I plan to learn a new language in the next few months.
Something that will be helpful when I travel :D
