ABOUT ME

My basic interest lies in languages coz i feel its a great way to know more of a differnt culture and to get to know people from different cultural backgrounds. I have had great fun learning German, seeing a bit a of Germany and meeting wonderful people here. My immidiate next aim is therefore to learn some more languages. I've been lucky to make friends with people from diffirent corners of the world and learn a lot from them, its this way that i'v started learning russian and potugese to.
Besides languages I love dancing, singing and theater. Cooking also interests me a a lot, although unfortunately I cant cook much, but nevertheless m enjoyng this process of learning to cook together with my friends. My life has so far been beautiful because of the people around me and I would love to share this fun and beauty with you to by having the pleasure of meeting you too:)

PHILOSOPHY

If you want to do something from the core of ur heart, just do it!! Even if you have no experience in it, dont know its technichalities, but have just a huge plain interest in it and think u can do it if u give it a shot and that its not harmful.....dont stop urself...just go ahead and do it.......u'll learn it from stratch, but u'll learn it better. U'll enjoy every moment of it!! Sucess is definitely urs if u (most importantly) believe in what u do!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I come from India but just shifted to Konstanz, Germany a month back to spend the coming two semesters at the university here. I live in a students hostel and therefore although I'd have loved to m not quite sure if at the moment I can provide someone a couch due to hostel obligations. Similar is the case in India. But when you in India, I'd be glad to meet you, help you out with accomodation and seeing places around.
As m in Germany for the next 10 months, I am looking forward to travelling around in Europe. At this point m therefore looking for couches coz i think a country can be better known by its people and what better way than to couch surf!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with Anne Lohse in Tuebingen for two days. I met her in a sommercourse i was doing there, where she was working as a tutor. I couldnt have expexted more from such wonderful hosts like she and her partner. She not only provided her couch to me but also showed me around a bit in the city, explained to me how i can travel cheap and comfortable in Germany, cooked for me german food and along with me indian food. She has a wonderful library in her cozy little apartment. I am so glad to have got to know Anna and her partner due to my couchsurfig at their place!

Interests

Learning Languages tops my list of interests. In Tandem is more fun. i can speak English, german and two Indian languages, Hindi and Marathi. I'v just stared learning spanish. I enjoy dancing, singing, cooking as well going for long walks, trekking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I cant really name the kind of music i like, I just like anything which gets me dancing!! And besides this, i like any kind of instrumental and soft music too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

FOr me its most beautiful to see a mom playing and talking to her lil kid. She discovers a new language While talking to the kid, which just the kid can understand and she forgets the entire world when she's playing wid her/him. I just luv that sight! Its actually the same wid moms with their grown up kids. Where else wud u get to see this kinda pur luv!
