Hi.
My name is Diran, I'm from Montpellier in France and I'm working in cinema since 7 years now.

My project is to travel by foot and hitchhiking from my home town to Armenia in 5 month maximum.
Why Armenia ? Because I have some Armenian origin and I would like to see the country.
Why hitchhiking ? Because I want to meet local people on the way and despite the difficulties, I think that hitchhiking is more humble than taking a plane.

Also, I'm doing it because I need some inspiration in order to right new films.

Until now I crossed Italia, Albania, North Macedonia (Skopja), and I'm now in Greece.

Of course that is a crazy adventure, and while I'm righting that text I'm seating in a hospital bed in Thessaloniki. The road had been tuff but also wonderful and I don't want to give up.

Greece had been incredible so far and Greek people are the nicest ever.

I'm moving in north Greece. I'm looking forward to find a host in this location.

So if I want to be part of the story, to host a crazy french guy and to share culture,. language and stories, I would be super keen !
