About Me

Travelling with a Roof tent on my car.
Currently in Norway
Fully vaccinated with a Comirnaty with BioNTech.

Hi, my name is Dirk.

I've spent the last few years realizing my vision.
However, life sometimes takes exciting turns and has something new to offer.
The exciting thing for me is not knowing what the new is.

I would say about myself that I am communicative, spontaneous, open to people and new situations.

I love to talk about life and what it entails.

Due to my social nature, I can adapt, integrate and pick up other people where they are in their lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know new people and their culture.

Often we live like in a bubble, and it sometimes takes an outside inspiration to become aware of the bubble and to broaden one's mindset.

My experience has taught me that everyone has a story to tell.
For me, it is exciting to hear these stories and to tell my own.

Unfortunately, in the past, I missed improving my English language skills.
I would now like to use encounters for this.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love live concerts, be it rock or electronic music. You don't just hear the music, you feel it all over your body.

I like to read fantasy books that captivate me and take my mind to unknown places.

I also read books on personal development.

Likewise, I prefer to spend my time with podcasts than with films or series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Regularly asking yourself, when was the last time I did something for the first time?
Then leave your own "comfort zone" and take action.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to share time with the host. From my point of view, lifetime is the most precious thing a person has. Sometimes we surround ourselves with people who are not doing us any good or who waste this lifetime.

The host's time should be filled with experiences, respect and positive exchange.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand
