Overview
About Me
I live in Freiburg im Breisgau in Germany. I moved here from my hometown in north-Bavaria in 2014 for my studies in Soziale Arbeit at Evangelische Hochschule Freiburg. I live in a dorm with about 120 housemates, 21 of them on my floor.
I'm open minded and curious about the world around me. Maybe this is one motivation to become a photographer so I can explore the world through the lens. I also like to reflect on prejudices. That's why I like to meet people with different biographies, backgrounds and points of view.
If you want to know more about me read my interests or feel free to ask me ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to share things and time with strangers that are no longer strangers when I spend time with them. I want to broaden my mind. Couchsurfing is as well as hitchhiking a good opportunity to do so.
Interests
Hi there!
I´m interested in a lot of things, but first of all right now I focus on photography. I do especially street and people photography because I love to communicate and explore everyday live.
I also enjoy cooking healthy food (vegetables are my favourite) and If there´s time cooking might last 3 hours.
Though I´m not practicing sports everyday I can´t imagine a life without sports. I like bouldering, cycling, soccer, volleyball, jogging, kayaking and so on. If there´s any kind of sports I haven´t tried out yet and it doesn´t seem too dangerous I´m open to try it.

I´m not that much into watching movies, but sometimes I like it. Into The Wild or The Lord Of The Rings are two examples. And to my own surprise I liked it when I watched the first episode of Game Of Thrones. Edit: Even liked the second episode :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I once was hiking in France, I had packed a way to heavy backpack.
I was walking along a cycling route and frustrated because my hips were aching. There were mainly cyclists on the way passing me by without more or less paying attention about me. But suddenly when one cyclist passed by she turned around, smiled and shouted at me "Bon route!".
That was so kind of her that I got back my motivation to move on. And I learned that I can make a difference with even only two words and a smile.
Teach, Learn, Share
As already mentioned I am an open minded person, so I like to learn and experience new things. In return I enjoy to contribute to someone's knowledge and skills (this could be photography over all) . And I like to share community. As I live in a dorm with 21 housemates on my floor I experience this everyday.
