I am a travel enthousiast and student of philosophy. I like to do long distance walking and, among other things, spent 5 months in New Zealand walking from north to south and 1,5 months in Iceland walking from the southwest to the northeast. Together with a friend, I hitchhiked from Hook of Holland (the Netherlands) to Hong Kong.
I'm a seasoned traveller with a wide range of interests and would like to meet anybody up for an interesting talk :)

I have hosted a lot of people while living with Dennis (our profile: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/ushikumo (Dominicus, that's me)). It's been a while and I would like to host some more people to show them Rotterdam :)

Interests

I'm interested in a lot of things. Mainly I enjoy creating, in many ways (writing, woodworking, music, gardening, baking bread, etc.).
I also play the guitar and the piano (but I don't have a piano in my house, so mainly guitar...).
And I like to do lots of sports, currently: bouldering, surfing, krav maga and yoga.
