About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore all 7,107 islands of the Philippines and promote to others. Then, conquer the world!

ABOUT ME

Dear past/present/future host/surfer, who is reading my profile right now.

I'm a 40 year old guy who was born in Manila, Philippines but now living in Helsinki, Finland. I work in the tourism and hospitality industry, so you could already imagine that I am a very sociable person. Moving here gave me the opportunity to start anew, to create and change my path as I'm trying to fulfill some childhood dream of mine right now.

Oh, if you're wondering how I ended up on this side of the world, I will save the story for later, and tell you the story when we meet later over a cup of coffee/pint of beer.

I'm a happy-go-lucky, but very optimistic type of person with a chameleon type of personality. Definitely a great guy who is adventurous, funny, friendly, open-minded, sociable, loves to party every once in a while and very easy to get along with. I'm that type of person who charges everything into experience.

Gay/LGBT-friendly 🏳️‍🌈

PHILOSOPHY

"Blowing out another's candle does not make yours any brighter."
"Everything happens for a reason."
"If you're going to do something, do it totally."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here, because why not? I think Couchsurfing is another form of school where we learn, share and gain knowledge with others.

Here, we constantly meet new people from different paths of life, get to know each other by: sharing unbelievable travel stories, exchanging different cultural practices, and at the end - most of the time, gaining a new friend, as cliché as that may sound.

Interests

Watching movies, playing/watching sports (tennis, badminton, padel, table tennis and volleyball), playing video games, taking photos/capturing moments (usually landscapes and everyday stuff), surfing the internet, long distance traveling (by land), listening to music, curating music playlists, partying/clubbing, going to the beach, staying outdoors with nature, theme parks, recycled furniture, Bauhaus design, Brutalist architecture, thrift shops.

To be honest, this is going to take us forever if I continue listing down the music that I listen to. Haha! If you're on Spotify, please look me up by my name or add me through the link below and just check out the playlists that I have created.
