Overview
About Me
I am a girl that smiles a lot, talks too much, laugh loudly often and try to get others to do the same.
I am a thinker a dreamer and a bit of a worrier too.
My curiosity is what I appreciate most about myself; there is so much information out there, and I hope I never loose my fascination with the world and eagerness to learn about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I host whenever it is needed and I am capable. And anyone is of course always welcome to contact me for information or to go for a coffee or similar.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I host, both here and when I lived for a while in Barcelona. All were very good experiences :) While I lived in Barcelona I went to a lot of social CS meetings and met so many great new people whom I'm still in contact with today :)
My best CS experience was when I stayed with a local tour guide in Thailand. I ended up being there for 3 weeks while helping him with his bungalows in a rural mountain area. I became friends with his employees, who took me to dinners with their families, showed me how to catch crabs in the rice fields and gather food in the jungle.
Interests
I have been addicted to books from the moment I slowly spelled my way through my first as a kid. I'm still hooked and hopefully always will be.
I try to learn something new every day, whatever the subject might be.
Nature. Everything about it; the world is fascinating and marvelous!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have read so many amazing books, that I cant even begin to list them, but here are a few I especially enjoyed:
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear
Doppler
The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy
The old man and the sea
Jonathan Livingston Seagull
The Kiterunner
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
How can I name just one?!
Scuba diving with sharks was like being in a completely different (and slightly scary) universe.
My first (successful) jump on a snowboard.
Chasing venomous snakes with local villagers in northern Thailand. And cooking them for dinner afterwards (the snakes, not the villagers..)
The 2 weeks every year when the anemones bloom near my childhood home. It just keeps being magical every. single. time.
Teach, Learn, Share
Have you ever found yourself wondering how your favorite coffee mug came to be, then I'm the one to ask.
I'm always in for a good talk about culture, life, science or anything else really. If someone is passionate about something, I find that almost anything can become interesting to talk about.
