ABOUT ME

A friend once offered me sweets with some features of character written on them. She told me to choose two of them, which I think I lack of. I've chosen courage and self-confidence. I would like to have more of those as I'm quite calm (my name - Rima - comes from the word 'rimtis' in Lithuanian, meaning quiet :) ) and sometimes think that my life in my thoughts is much more dynamic than the external one :) However, I love every kind of experience of the world, which is so amazingly different. And am nicely surprised every time I get it :)

PHILOSOPHY

Every kind of experience is good. Even if it's bad. I tryed some things before getting into journalism - studied a bit of Japanese culture and language (remember just few words, though), political science. I quitted it, but never thought that I've wasted my time.

A lot of it and different. Jazz, rock, folk... The Doors, Janis Joplin, Tracy Chapman, David Grey, Moody Blues (of the 70's), some French music and others, and others. Books - Master and Margarita, everything of E. M. Remarque, Kerouac, Orwell, classics.
Movies - it's different to remember all of them - recent surprises: Das weisse band, Mr. Nobody, some Lithuanian oldies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Iceland. I wanted to visit it some day, but never thought it will come true in close future. I'm so grateful for that chance.
