Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Divyansh — an entrepreneur, traveler, and lifelong learner from India. I consult a growing startup in the education and technology space, and whenever I get the chance, I love exploring new cities, ideas, and conversations.
I’m naturally curious about how people live, build, and think. Over the last few years, I’ve spent my time between launching businesses, hosting events, and meeting people who expand my worldview. Travel for me isn’t about ticking off destinations — it’s about stories, people, and perspective.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me in a local café (coffee is my weakness), reading philosophy, or just wandering around neighborhoods observing daily life. I enjoy deep conversations about culture, entrepreneurship, and how technology is reshaping our world — but also appreciate a good laugh over something random.
I’m clean, respectful, and easy to host. I believe in leaving a place better than I found it — whether that’s a couch, a conversation, or a city.
Looking forward to meeting locals, sharing stories, and maybe making a few lifelong friends along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel becomes truly meaningful when it’s shared with people who live and breathe the place. Hotels show you the city from the outside — locals help you feel it from the inside.
As someone who’s building businesses and communities back home, I find that every new connection, culture, and conversation adds a new lens to how I see the world.
I’m here to meet interesting people, exchange ideas, and experience cities the way locals do. Whether it’s discussing travel, startups, or life over coffee, or simply sharing stories after a long day — I value genuine human connection more than any tourist checklist.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: My playlists are all over the place — Taylor Swift for the lyrics, Maroon 5 and Halsey on long drives, Ed Sheeran and Cigarettes After Sex for quiet nights, and Backstreet Boys or One Direction when nostalgia hits. I listen to a lot of Bollywood too — it’s pure emotion and energy. Music for me is less about genre and more about mood.
Movies: I’m into rom-coms when I want to unwind and action thrillers when I need an adrenaline kick. I also enjoy movies that make you think — The Social Network, Inception, The Pursuit of Happyness, or Before Sunrise — the kind that stay with you long after the credits roll.
Books: I read a mix of self-help, philosophy, and biographies — anything that helps me understand people and life better. Favorites include Sapiens, The Almanack of Naval Ravikant, Shoe Dog, and The Prophet. I often go back to Osho’s writings when I want to slow down and reflect.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was featured on national television for my startup — an experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me more about storytelling, resilience, and the thrill of building something from scratch. It was surreal seeing an idea I started come alive on screen and reach millions of people.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can share what I’ve learned about building startups, storytelling, and navigating the chaos of turning ideas into reality. I also love helping people think through their goals or brainstorm creative projects.
Learn: I’m always curious about how people live and think — whether it’s local culture, language, music, or just life philosophies. I love learning new perspectives that challenge my own.
Share: Stories, food, travel tips, and good conversations over coffee. I believe every person you meet adds something new to your journey — I just try to make sure I leave something meaningful behind too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories from building startups, traveling across India, and the lessons that come from both success and chaos. I love meaningful conversations — whether it’s about entrepreneurship, culture, or just life in general.
I can bring good coffee, an open mind, and a genuine interest in learning about your world. If you’re curious about India, startups, or philosophy, I’d be happy to share what I know — and maybe cook or bring something local from back home.
Mostly, I try to bring good energy and leave people feeling a little lighter or more inspired than before we met.
