California-born Vietnamese guy living in Napoli Italia
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had all these plans for traveling the world back in 2010, as most college students do when they're near graduating, so I signed up. I enjoy hosting friends and family, so I figured, why not host travelers from around the world as well?
Life had other plans, and I ended up finding a love for camping and backpacking outdoors through the western US instead. A decade and a half later, I ended up moving to Europe, found a love for traveling, and finally "get it." I hope to have friends in every country in the world by the time I reach the end of my story.

I spent 7 days backpacking across the High Sierra Trail, in California, with a friend that works at JPL (NASA/Cal Tech). There were 4 days where we did not see another human. Ended with summiting Mt Whitney (~14,500ft elev) for the 2nd time ever, in the snow.
