ABOUT ME

mmmm? at the moment, i work for a women's refuge that operates as a feminist collective. previously i've worked in the secure psychiatric service for the prison system, with refugee women and kids in the philippines, managed a residential and outreach program for homeless women, and managed support services for homeless men in a crisis accommodation facility. am also working for an organic fruit and veg supplier. nice counter-blanace to my refuge work. love growing good food and eating good food. ahve been vegan a long time but recently started to eat happy eggs again and some yoghurt/cheese (we have an amazing organic dairy here) due to B12 issues. Really interested in food politics. Social justice, generally, really. Active in the green movement. I spend a lot of tiem in teh forests. I walk amongst the tree every day. And ride my bicycle everywhere. There's lots more but that's enough.

Am really committed to developing systems of non-monetary exchange. I like to make a contribution that has shared value/meaning and see the couch-surfing project as a nother way of doing this.

None via couch-surfing.com. Informally couch-surfed though friends of friends and sometimes through strangers who have become friends.
