Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for alternatives for our 5th trip to Oman in May 2016. So far we mostly went with a 4x4 and a tent, enjoying nature and silence, this time we'd like to have more local contacts also in the evenings.

We are home exchangers so far and have already hosted people from all over the world

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stepped on a stingray in Australia
Crossed the Wahiba Desert by foot
Jumped down a 19 meter waterfall in Ticino, Switzerland
Did my first solo-backpacking to Greece at the age of 16
Enjoyed a Finnish sauna at 120 degrees Celsius and swam in an ice hole afterwards
Hiked through the beautiful Libyan desert with Touareg guides for two weeks
