ABOUT ME

I don't like writing about me...it's so difficult to describe yourself. I'm friendly, funny, open-minded, easy going, absolutely optimistic, interested in a thousand things...you'll just have to find out for yourself! ;)

After finishing school I lived in Vancouver for almost a year which was the best experience of my life so far. That's where I also got involved for the first time with Couchsurfing.
Back in Germany I started studying biology at the university of Heidelberg, then changed my mind, did an internship in a hospital because I thought medicine was the right subject for me, then changed my mind again and applied to the University of Education in Heidelberg. And that's where I still go to every day, studying to become a secondary school teacher for English, biology and home economics.

I love meeting new people and getting to know them. I love listening to their stories and of course also telling them stories of my life :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed in Eastern Canada and Australia so far and it was (and still is) so much fun!! I will definitely host sometime in the future (as soon as I have my own flat). Until then I'm always available for a coffee or for playing tour guide and showing people around Heidelberg.

Books: Where Rainbows End, The Book Thief, The Help, all Sophie Kinsella books, Little Bee, The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat, The Hundred-Year-Old Man who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared

A tour through the Rocky Mountains!
And getting upgraded to Business Class on a flight from New York back to Germany. Best.Thing.Ever!
Skydiving, snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef

I'm always up to try new things. Especially on my trip through Australia I've done a ton of stuff I never thought I would even try. :D
As for the teaching and sharing part, I'm sure we'll find something.
