CURRENT MISSION

To explore the natural beauty, culture and food of Central and South America. I want to hike and exlpore the Andes in particular and learn some spanish along the way. I am interested in aproaching life with a relaxed pace and open mind

ABOUT ME

I like meeting new people and learning about and being exposed to new cultures and ideas. Presence is very important to me and I love taking in all of the sensations and feelings and thoughts of my present moment. I think this is why I like traveling so much.... being in new places and meeting new people allows me to deepen my practice of getting the most out of life and stay fluid in my day to day living.

I am also totally enamored with the natural world; it's peaks and valleys, ecosystems, life forms, cycles and raw beauty. I grew up in Southern California exploring the forests, deserts, mountains and beaches and just can't get enough of the outdoors. I have also explored other states in the USA, parts of Mexico, Israel, and Northern India in the Himalayas

my love for nature led me to study the deeper laws of nature and how to preserve the earth, which is our living space ship in this universe and our mother. I studied Sustainable Living at Maharishi University of Management and did a minor in Auyervedic Health to round out what personal sustainability can do for the whole.

Now, I am on an adventure to explore new environments, new people and new ideas to add some more life education to the resume :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am brand spankin new to couch surfing, but have traveled a lot and made all kinds of friends throughout the world that I have stayed with and hosted at my house. I have had all kinds of experiences ranging from hosting a friend for one night on their way somewhere to staying with people for a few months and doing a work exchange. either way, clear communication, kindness and a positive attitude make staying or hosting a really pleasant experience for me.

Interests

being in nature, hiking, deep conversations about life, love, unity. I LOVE food!! ;) travel, culture, relaxing, meditation, going with the flow. being around people that have a generally happy disposition. Sustainability, organic farming, natural building, renewable energy. GOATS! playing, listening and watching bands perform music (I play guitar).
