ABOUT ME

I'm not sure what to put in here...

I've lived in Raleigh/Cary for about 11 years, Chapel Hill for 5. I am pretty used to the area and am up for hanging out with anyone who wants to see the area.

I'm about 6'1, athletic 180 pounds. I love eating meat and am a bit of a wine/beer connoisseur.

I'm growing my hair out to shoulder length for Halloween next year at CH so that I look a bit like Desmond from Lost.

PHILOSOPHY

If you take like too seriously, you'll never enjoy anything to its fullest. There's a reason people suggest you "stop and smell the roses." The world is beautiful and personal interactions are hella interesting. Really try to appreciate them like you're tasting a fine wine. It's good for your soul.

You'll never know anything until you try.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only lived vicariously through my CS friends so far! Just signed up so that I would make some.

Interests

I love physical activities, especially rock climbing, road cycling, and hiking.
Typically my day/week revolves around when I can go climbing next, I'm that in love with it.

I play a little bit of guitar and am soon going to be moving to bass.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like pretty much everything. When it gets late and I'm driving, I tend to pump up the gangsta rap. When it's early I listen to NPR and Talk Radio. I'm really all over the place with music... except country. I don't have a full appreciation for it yet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done would have to be going to New Zealand with the mindset to see as much as possible and treat every weekend there like the last time I'd be in NZ. Because of this, I met the most amazing people and have seen some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
