I work in journalism. I like sport as I played football for over 10 years and did different other sports such as swimming, athletics, Thaï boxing, basketball, in university, college and associations.

I host and I suggest things to do (activities, meetings, parties etc.) to my hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been taking part in one couchsurfing meeting in Paris in July 2012. It was a great time to meet people from different countries!
I went canoeing with another couch surfer on the gorges of Verdon in Var (83, France). Paddling in this awesome canyon was a unique time.

Interests

I love dancing as I do break dance and salsa. So it's easy to guess I like partying too!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love road movies such as Into the wild, Priscilla, queen of desert, Forrest Gump, Mammuth, Easy rider, Diarios de motocicleta and so on. I am also fond of the brothers Cohen's movies such as The big Lebowski, Fargo, O Brother, No country for old men and Burn after reading.
I often watch a TV show called "j'irai dormir chez vous" (I will sleep at yours) broadcasted on "France 5" in which the host goes to different countries to meet locals. He ask them questions about their routine and the society they live in, then he asks them if they can host him for one night. I really admire his spontaneity.
Also, I like Black music (reggea, hiphop, r'n'b, jazz, soul, funk, afrobeat etc.) but I'm eclectic about music (yes I also listen to David Guetta sometimes! I know...).
I like literature but I don't have a favorite style eventhough back in the day I used to like fantasy books (and I still like it today) like Tolkien's books, Sinuhe Egyptian (Mika Waltari), Jules Verne's books etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba-diving in the Great bareer reaf was amazing!

But I also had a scary experience in the malagasian mountains (Andringintra mountains) where I was about to get lost in the middle of a storm in 2500 m. above sea level with a friend of mine. Our guide was totally lost until we told him we will go down the first valley we see and ask for villagers to give us shelter. We had to cross the bush for 6 hours then cross a rising river before we reached our goal. What an adventure we will never forget!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach djing, break dancing, salsa and how to speak French.
I would like to learn how to play guitare as it's one of my serious wish. I'm jealous of people who enjoy themselves playing guitare as I would like to feel how they feel when they scratch the strings!
