CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

--- BREAKING NEWS : After being absent for a long time, I am back on the couchsurfing community! ---

Damn I did something wrong and it deleted my whole page informations... I will fix that soon!

PHILOSOPHY

I won't go that far into my "personal Philosophy", I am way to lazy to do this exercice of synthesis but as regard a couchsurfing philosophy here are some essential points.

- Couchsurfing is not a synonym of free accomodation : it involves availability for exchange. When I don't have time to spend I don't host. It means when i am hosting I consider that people surfing my couch are open to talk, share drinks,...

- Hosting is not babysitting : I can feed you with tips, ideas for sight-seeings, or give you my opinion about must-see or must-dos in or around Paris, but I'd rather host surfers arriving with plans and expectations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered the CS experience about 5 years ago during my Erasmus. I travelled throught Europe surfing couches, meeting people and places I wouldn't have met by following travel guides.
For the past year and half, lets say that my life style has become more sedentary ... "working is dangerous".
My couch helps me to break the routine...and I must confess that hosting couchsurfers give me opportunities to discover my own city from new outlooks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I crashed the car of one of my host... ("Pleeease, forgive me !!!" Sidewalks in Zagreb are too high!!!)

Teach, Learn, Share

this part will sound really cliché, anyway...

"TRAVELLING IS A LUX" ... I am not sure I totally grasp the meaning of this sentence a 90 years old chinese neighbour told me once, but it makes sense somehow.

we can fly/go all over the world pretty easily, but the eseence of travelling is not all included in the trip itself, it is a lot about the preparation, the readings, the expectations, the things you wanna check, and the goals you wanna achieve... you don't need to go far or anywhere to travel...
