ABOUT ME

Like most people, I love to learn, to experience, and to relate. I've studied design and love the act of observation. I'm passionate about storytelling. I'm on a quest to find the perfect latte. Meeting new people is sometimes difficult for me; I'm uncomfortable alone in social situations and hope to overcome that particular anxiety through some earnest CouchSurfing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am, admittedly, somewhat intimidated by some of the community, having never really traveled. I'd like to invest more time in hosting and traveling, hopefully through a trip to Japan coming up later this year, and of course, if anyone happens to find themselves in southern Maine.

Interests

Design, music, anything pleasing to the eye or ear. Coffee, espresso machines, steamed milk. Video games as an imitation of musical performance. Hairstyles, dance, brightly colored clothing. Spicy food, bland food, disgusting food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Never been huge into movies, but I'll begrudgingly admit that I like Wes Anderson a lot.

Musically, I'll listen to anything with a beat. I love dance, club and electronic music, indie rock if it's not too depressing, hip-hop and R&B.

I love postmodern fiction, black humor, and anything closely related to cyberpunk. Well-written wordplay is an abiding passion of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having studied Latin and ancient Roman culture, walking among the ruins of Pompeii was an unbelievably awesome experience for me.
