in the past 4 years, i've lived in jerusalem, anchorage, kodiak, western arizona, denver, and i just moved to maui.

hammock land in kodiak, alaska - 100+ square feet of fishing net hammocks hung 15-30 feet in the air. we had 13 people up there one night. want to build one with me?
tracking and collaring kodiak bears in kodiak, alaska.
i lived in the arab quarter of jerusalem's old city for six months.
helicoptering into the little colorado river gorge in the grand canyon with the US Fish & Wildlife Service and spending 2 weeks doing fish surveys for endangered bonytail chub.

i can grow vegetables and flowers and make food and bread and i can tie a lot of different knots. i know a lot about plants/animals/geography/other natural sciency stuff.
i'm interested in learning anything new, especially anything about brewing, cooking, language, culture or spirituality, or new games and new things about/ways to make music. i'm also very interested in sharing music.
