Overview
About Me
Hi I’m Djuro Vukotic
l am living in my own apartment not far from the university (SDU) where I study philosophy as a degree. The apartment is located near a quite area and surrounded with nice nature, something that I value a lot! As a person I am quite outgoing and energetic, with this comes times of quiteness and relaxation. I assume it is a ying-yang relationship.
I am also a certified yoga teacher from the Indian Himalayas, maybe it is worth mentioning that I lived in India for two years, where as my passion for yoga started! So yes, I practice yoga on a regular basis, nothing magical or mystical. Along side yoga I play cApoeira. It is a strong passion of mine because it involves music, movement, dancing, playing, and everything you can imagine (google it).
I hope this gives somewhat gives you a picture of what to expect! I am an easy going person, with no problems communicating with all kinds of people and backgrounds. There is only one request, positivity and love for life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It’s hard to pick out one specific thing. I would say it is a culmination of many thing leading to one. Having had cancer and undergoing the odeal, has consequences that eventually lead me to the path of India, hence where yoga came to exit for me. It changed me for the better and started one of the most amazing journeys in my life! From living in the jungle to driving over kadungla (5800m) mountain in Himalayas on a 500cc royal enfield, to working with agriculture in Australia, and eventually. The people I have met, the views I have seen, the emotions I have had, has all lead to me being this specific person today and this I would say is one of the most amazing things I have experienced.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: movement
I think I would say that I can teach some yoga. I practise on a regular basic and it involves pranayama and asana (meditation is the harder part for me) also I would be able to share my views on yoga philosophy and what I have learned by living yoga as a lifestyle.
Likewise I would be able to teach some cApoeira moves, maybe teach you how to play the Brazilian instrument (berimbau) and who knows, maybe we could play a game of cApoeira.
Learn:
I would very much like to learn (more languages and better my skills) I speak: Danish, German, English and Serbian and would very much like to better my Spanish and Portuguese, and any other language possible (Japanese, Chinese, ect)
Also I am very interrested in learning more about music, rhythm, drums, and alike! This has always been somewhat a hassle for me. There’s really not something that I am not interrested in, as a long as I see passion in a person, then I also become interested in learning from a person because I see passion as being a major thing in life that gives drive and energy
What I Can Share with Hosts
I guess I can share my personality first and foremost! I have experienced things in life that have given me a different perspective. I can share my home and give a helping hand on any thing needed here in Odense or if it is as simple as a nights stay.
