Hi! My name is Debbie.

I'm from Switzerland and Germany. I lived all my childhood in Lausanne, but I can't really say it's my home anymore.
I have started travelling at a very early age, and now it's an addiction.
I'm starting to re think about how to manage my life around my trip cause I feel that I don't wanna stop.

My purpose in life is to feel free and in peace with myself, so I can find my place and inspire others to seek real happiness, far from ownership and egocentric problems.

Since I studied film and editing, I should say "I am a director".
I did a documentary but...we are more than our job, right?
I see myself more as an adventurer, artist, traveler, healer or maybe just as someone who's enjoying life.

I'm deeply interest in social change, humanitarian aid and ecology.
Some people put a name on my way to think. "degrowth".
To me, it's more about growing in a more sustainable way, in tune with nature.
In this purpose, I have to unlearn what society teached me and think again twice.

It's a tough road but more I learn more I feel close to a eternal source of happiness.

I like to get up and know my day has a purpose.
As I said before, my home is nowhere and everywhere in the same place. So even if I host you, we would be two travelers with the same willingness to discover...Even in my own city!

Otherwise, I like to create, paint, dance, sing, run, talk, listen and so much more...
My age is pretty young, but I had enough time on earth to be able to get along with everyone.
Seeing smiles on people faces is one of my deepest joy.

What life is really about if it's not about sharing?
If you take time to wonder, you will see that's how the world is working.
Nature and society, it's a full circle of "I give to you and you give to me".
The problem to my eyes, is that the exchange become now only about ownership.
We're slowly forgetting that giving is better than having.

I want a more sharing world... I want to exchange and discover new feelings as long as my body will be on this planet.

I'm used to slow travel, so I'm using more often website like woofing, workaway or just making friends in real life and staying with them, that's why I do not have a lot a references here.
