I was raised up and down the west coast of the pacific, with a home base in central CA. I recently moved from Eugene, OR, where I had been living for 6 years. At the beginning of summer when I moved my things from a home I had been living in for 3 years while I went to school, I embarked on an adventure of traveling to some places I had yet to visit throughout OR, CA, and Baja, while visiting a few old favorites as well. I am currently looking to eventually settle in Humboldt & continue working on my botany degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing offers a unique way to meet others who are like-minded with an adventurous and open-minded outlook. I feel we can learn most from experiences, random people, and finding comfort outside our comfort zones. Adaptation shapes our nature and temperament, allowing to refresh our spirit, which in turn allows us to pass on renewed energy, intelligence, and experiences to others. Let's pay it forward!

Even though I have been a member since 2011 I have never actually used couchsurfing thus far. I am excited to utilize this tool to expand my horizons, and hopefully yours also.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not let this life get me down...
I have had many amazing experiences, traveling and seeing glorious sights, but what I find more amazing than that is that I have witnessed sadness, been deeply betrayed, and experienced close kin's death, though have been able to prevail with an outlook where I am always able to find the silver lining(s) in a situation. I choose growth, evolution, warmth, and happiness.
