CURRENT MISSION

I have wanted to travel through Europe my entire life. the places, people, foods, culture, history, and physical and natural beauty is extremely exciting to me. I have been living in Israel, learning Hebrew and traveling thoughout the country.

ABOUT ME

Travel and adventure are things I never want removed from my life. I love to travel. Histories and the peoples, the foods, cultures, and identities. I am someone who loves knowledge and philosophy. I studied politics in University and am always down to have political conversations about anything. Most of all I am fascinated with meeting people from different cultures. I am currently on a program with students from all over the world and I find the connections people can make through laughter and story telling transcend languages and age.
I also love to party and have a good time. I have been playing Drums for 10 years and love to jam with anyone and everyone. I played in a band for the last four years during school and really enjoyed it. I love music. Whether it be Rock and Roll, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Electronic, or Pop I just love listening to music. Other than a love of politics Music is my life.
I think the CS2 Project is an amazing idea and can't wait to return the favor to fellow travelers in the future.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that all people can be linked no matter who they are through stories and laughter. Humor is an ultimate unifier. Also, I believe that people are inherently good and it is their environment which shapes them into a good or bad person. The fear of the other is an innate instinct in human beings. This gives rise to bigotry and racism, two forces that are responsible for most if not all of human evils.
Also, the connection people share through music is something that can not be replicated in any other human experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first time in this community. But after I travel I will spread the word of this amazing project. I heard about this from a friend who traveled through South America through this network and his experience was so positive it convinced me that this was the way I wanted to travel through Europe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent four hours by myself sitting in the Colorado Rockies ten feet away from a beautiful white Mountain Goat. I saw him off in the distance. I fell asleep during the midday sun and when I awoke he was sleeping ten feet away from me. Shortly after he woke up and we stared at each other. I was scared stiff, this animal could have easily kill me. But he looked at me and sat there. We sat in silence looking at each other for four hours. We connected spiritually and I have never been so in tuned with nature since. When my friends caught up with me I turned to tell them to be quite so they could see this mountain goat. When I turned around the goat was gone.

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't be afraid to ask for help. Take a minute and look at the beauty of the environment around you. Do not lose contact with Nature. Pay attention to social politics because it is possible that without your knowledge your freedoms could be taken away.
