About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To bring something new into this world

ABOUT ME

First of all I'm a creative person. I want to try many things, and wish that day will last longer than twenty-four hours. I like traveling and I really enjoy getting to know interesting people and places, cultures, it's history and art.

After I tried a self organised trip last year (2013), I realised that I'll never use again a services offered by travel agencies. Moving further I want to try a CS!

PHILOSOPHY

You live only once. Perfect is the enemy of the good. Love your life and live life to the fullest. Enjoy the moment. Reflect on your life. Cherish every second. Do not regret the past. Happiness concludes in three things: love, interesting job and the opportunity to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a new in CS. A friend tells me about couchsurfing system and I want to try to surf, because I often travel by car and I like very much beautiful non touristic places, awesome views and breathtaking landscapes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None at this very moment, except staying with friends I've already know.

Interests

I'm interested in everything creative. I like learning new stuff. Getting to know people and cultures. Getting some practical skills and wisdom advices.

Right now I'm writing a book, trying to learn how to play piano (yeap, playing in a musical band is a dream from the childhood).

A couple of years ago I've studied a psychology and interpersonal relationships. I'm a pro in motivation, but it's a job.

About one and a half year ago I get into board games. A boardgamegeek is one of my favourites sites now.

I like cars, long-distance traveling by car is my favourite way.

I'm also occasionally play video-games with my friends, but time goes, we grow old, everybody got a less and less time for the stuff like this... And right now I'm waiting when I got kids and they grow a little bit to hold a joystick ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Well... my taste changes from time to time, but in general...

Movies: I like most kind of movies. Movies that left some aftertaste for reflection and suggests to think about life and world around us (What Dreams May Come, The Butterfly Effect, Forrest Gump, Mr. Nobody, Knockin' on Heaven's Door, 1+1). Movies that awake fantasy and inspire me in my favourite genres - fantasy and sci-fi (Blade Runner, Alien, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Matrix, Fifth Element, Transformers etc.). Also I'm very, very like movies about James Bond, Indiana Jones and many movies from 80-90s (Jurassic Park, Highlander, Lethal weapon, Mad Max, Water World, Robocop, Terminator, The Rocketeer, Total Recall etc).

Music: Right now I've got an inspiration in a post-rock (God is an Astronaut, Around the World in 80 days, BFZM), also I like solo piano (Lee Galloway, Scott D.Davis), of course some rock (Led Zeppelin, Scorpions, Metallica, Brainstorm, ZZ Top, Orgia Pravednikov, Korol i Shut). Chillout, Lounge, Trip Hop, Breakbeat (Younderboi, The Prodigy, The Crystal method, Acoustic Alchemy, Thievery Corporation). Guitarists like Tommy Emmanuel, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani. New age like David Arkenstone, Secret Garden, Claus Zundel. And in my last few journeys in US I discover for myself a country and bluegrass (Miranda Lambert, Luke Brian).

Books: Oh... I've read a lots of different books in different genres before I got in my hands a collection of J.R.R. Tolkien. After that I get into fantasy very, very deep. My favourite authors changes from time to time, but right now it's George Martin with The Song of Fire and Ice cycle. I'm also like books of Roman Zlotnikov (cycle Gron), and have huge queue on my "to read" list consisting of novels of Phillip Dick, Howard Lovecraft, Alexey Zuikov, Suzanne Collins, Sergey Sheglov). And occasionally I'm reading some novels like Fifty shades of Grey :-)

I'll gladly share my knowledge of languages. My lifetime experience. And open to learn something new. It can be a few advices or practical skills or just cool moments in life you would like to share.
