I am a russian PhD student living in USA, currently working on my dissertation.

In the free time I'm an amateur musician (have my own little band, although we don't perform), an amateur photographer (experimenting with hand-made cameras), and I also enjoy dancing salsa and trying new cocktails.

P.S. I guess this should go without saying in a community like Couchsurfing, but I do despise all forms of violence and xenophobia, and specifically the war that my government is waging on Ukraine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like traveling by myself, but also don’t want to miss anything in the countries whose language I don’t speak.
I like to meet people from different cultures and make friends around the world.
