My name is Drew Michael Wunder. I am the creator and host of a gay travel podcast called Around the World with 80 Gays. It is being distributed by my media company, This Gay World (www.thisgayworld.com).

I love backpacking and travel. I've been to around 30 countries, but over the next two years I will visit 50+ more. I am fun, energetic, gay, and very social. Make friends quickly. Traveling alone, but I'll find people to hang with pretty fast in each place. I'm very low maintenance and won't eat your food or use your things. I'm on a mission, haha. Oh and I LOVE dogs. LOVE LOVE LOVE DOGS!

For the next two years I will be traveling from city to city around the world in search of interesting and unique gay stories to feature in my podcast. First up is Toronto, then Iceland, and on, and on. I am looking for people to let me sleep on their sofas. Preferably LGBT connected. If you are interested in being a part of the podcast, great, if not, that's okay, too. I'm not very interested in doing the common touristy stuff. Just need a space and some recommendations for good food. Over the weekends, I'll be going out to gay nightlife, and the rest of the time I'll be out interviewing people and editing together audio and video.

I'm definitely down if you want to tag along with me, but don't feel like you are obligated to.

Interessi

I'm very interested in exploring gay culture everywhere I go. Very excited to see the more unconventional aspects of queer life around the world. Want to do several extreme excursions here and there. Love discovering hidden gems in each city. Love live music, and gay bathhouses, and trying new foods.

Musica, film e libri

I love 1960s-1980s hippie rock, bubblegum pop, and Disco. (Jefferson Airplane, Mamas and the Papas, The Beatles, ABBA, The Archies, Jackson 5, Madonna, Donna Summer, etc.)

For movies, I really love everything. I went to film school and worked in film in Los Angeles. I won't have much time for movies on this trip, but I've seen A LOT of films, including many foreign films.

Books, again, I'm not going to be reading much on this trip. Too much work to do, but I gravitate toward non-fiction, biographies or books that exploring interesting topics or industries.

I'm fun to talk to. I've done a lot of interesting things in my short life, but I'm not a braggart and am very down to earth. I'm very dedicated to making this podcast adventure into the best thing it can be, so if my hosts are interested in being a part, that is the biggest thing I have to offer.
