HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

some surfing, some hosting. usually coffee or drink cuz my apartment is tiny and i prefer to have my own space and be in town centers when i travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i met a great turkish couple traveling in bosnia in 2003 and stayed with them in istanbul for two weeks in the summer of 2004. after traveling down the coast alone for three weeks i rejoined them in konya and they took me along on their summer holiday for two weeks all the way to diyarbikir! the experiences we shared were ones i could never have arranged on my own. after that trip i wanted to travel only where i had local friends but regretted the fact that my connections were few and far between.
