I want to write something beautiful. I want to bang on a drum all day. I want to see the world. I don't mind making a meager living doing it.

ABOUT ME

I'm a writer/musician living in Washington, D.C.
I work for a newspaper by day and drum for various rock bands by night (but also during the day sometimes).
Lived in Germany, England, North Carolina and Arizona, but I'm a Texan at heart.
Long time Servas member, and been CouchSurfing for a few years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly traveled with another world peace home-sharing group called Servas. I love it! But I also want to try CouchSurfing because I've heard so many great things. I've hosted people from Germany, Denmark and other places. And I've stayed with hosts all over Europe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed to the highest peak in Petra, Jordan and played a lute while drinking Bedouin tea.
Played drums at a music festival in front of a crowd of more than 1000 people.
