Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not on it sadly much these days! I'm now living in New Zealand, in a small town called Queenstown that gets inundated with millions of visitors a year, most of which backpackers, and so sadly it's way too intense to be able to keep up with hosting.

There are so many great books out there.
I don't watch movies too often, but if it's bold, creative, informative, has some crazy adventure or imagination, I'll definitely check it out. Just don't like to spend a lot of time in front of the TV.
Musicwise...stuff with life in it, heart, something original and not plagiarized, something zany, something ethereal, something fantastic, classic, or a great singalong, or if you've written some songs I would definitely appreciate hearing them. We've all got a song to sing, you know? At the moment, I dig me some Ulrich Schnauss, M83, Michael Franti, OKGO, The Prodigy, Neutral Milk Hotel, Does it offend you yeah?, The Wombats, Bright eyes.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a snowboard and ski instructor, I love to teach and learn how other people and I learn. I can teach that or guitar or singing or how to hop freight trains or be creative in finding a place to sleep. I like to eat, learn and share ideas about food and health, traditions...just ask.
