I am Austrian, lived in Shanghai for 2 years then moved to Paris 10 years ago which I still call home. I am an open-minded and curious person who loves traveling and meeting new people from all over the world. I speak English, German, French, Spanish and Mandarin.
I registered on Couchsurfing 10 years ago when friends talked about it but I never tried it so I am looking forward to make the experience now and get to know great people.

I moved to Shanghai/China for two years at the age of 21 without speaking the language. It was great to go from communicating with hands and feet at the beginning to be able to talk a bit and understand people after several months. Getting to know a culture that is completely different, taste new food and flavors and meeting other students from all over the world by being far away from home (Austria) at the same time.
