ABOUT ME

I am from Vietnam. I went to America for my study in 2007. I am currently getting involved in the doctoral program in Public Health in Houston, Texas. I love traveling since I was in college. However, I did not have a lot of chances to travel a lot when i was in Vietnam. I have traveled more since I went to the states. The more I travel, the more I love it, the more I feel excited to see the world by my own eyes. I am very interested in getting to know new culture, new food, and new people. also, because my field is Public Health and I am, in particular, interested in Global Health, Traveling brings me valuable knowledge that I can not gain from the books. When i travel, i really like to talk to local people because I think its the best way to learn local culture. Thus, its one of main reasons why i joined couch surfing.

兴趣

as mentioned above, I love traveling, getting to know new culture and new people. I always think having one more wonderful friend makes my world more colorful. I love reading, wine/beer tasting, coffee, nature, movies, volleyball, swimming, running, and festivals. I enjoy getting involved voluntary activities. I am thinking of volunteering one program for homeless people in Houston. I love to make people laugh because I think when laugh makes us stay younger.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I decided to backpack to Laos and Thailand only one day before my trip. It is the most unplanned but amazing trip.

I am from Vietnam so that feel free to talk to me if you are thinking of learning Vietnamese or traveling Vietnam. I enjoy introducing people about my country and give them all advise that help them to have a good experience in my country. I used to backpack Thailand and Laos so that I can give you all my advise in these countries. I am living in the states. I cannot say I know a lot of US after three years. However I've traveled California,Nevada, Arizona, New York, Boston, DC, New Mexico. also I was in atlanta for two years and I just moved to Houston 9 months ago. if you think I can be any help for your trip to the states, let me know.
