HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really enjoy meeting people and discovering new places, that’s why I’d like to participate on CouchSurfing project. I’d be glad to exchange with people from all over the world, share a cup of tea, walk around Douarnenez or teach some useful French vocabulary!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My last CouchSurfing experience was in Tel-Aviv. My girlfriend and I were in Tel-Aviv Bus Station, clueless and hungriest; it was cold outside and we were carrying our heavy tandem (We were traveling with) called “Sambero”. When out of the blue, a friend of us, an Australia guy that we met each other 4 days ago in Jerusalem, who was waiting for his bus connection, came to our rescue!!
He called a CouchSurfer couple that he also met few days before and we could stay with them. They not just hosted us and guided us during our time in Tel-Aviv, but helped us with my girlfriend’s visa issuing (She’s Venezuelan and it was quite difficult for her to stay in Israel).
After this week, we spent 7 months in Israel, and we kept in touch with these special and nice friends. I personally believe that is the best souvenir you can have when you travel: All this people who become part of your ‘trip’s family’… That’s how Candy & I we feel about them!
