Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people who are usually at their most "in the moment", at their most open and present, so I can be too.

I first couchsurfed in Australia and NZ in 2005-6. Made friends, was part of the family, felt at home, and eventually realised my hosts were getting something from it, too. Since then I've hosted in UK, Mexico and Thailand, and enjoyed it just as much.

Open and fun people, creativity/writing, stuff filed under consciousness and spirituality.

In 2012, I published a novel, Human+, and had a podcast for a while in which I interviewed people on subjects mainly connected to human potential.

Currently involved in the crypto/web3/DeFi space, mainly as a copywriter.

Back when I was younger and less responsible, with three backpacker friends, I "scammed" a 5-star penthouse suite in a Sydney hotel, with bridge and opera house view, and access to the roof to film sunset and sunrise.
